A House United - Week 2
"
We Are A Holy People"
Pastor Nick Braunschneider

To be an exile in the world is to be without a home, and that is hard. But it does not mean that we are alone, or without hope. In week 2 of our teaching series, we'll learn the keys to embracing our exilic status as a divine calling, rather than viewing it as a curse.

Message begins at 24:57.

Scriptures:
1 Peter 2:1-12
Psalm 116:11-16
Luke 24:13-27

A House United - Week 1
"
We Are A Hopeful People"
Pastor Nick Braunschneider

The Apostle Peter wrote his first letter to people not so different than ourselves: people who were trying to figure out how to live with, and for, Jesus Christ while experiencing the pains of life in a world ravaged by sin.

In week 1 of our new 5-week teaching series through 1 Peter, we will be introduced to Peter's letter, and be grounded in the life-transforming truth that as Christians, we have a "living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..." (1:3).

Message begins at 25:45.

Scriptures:
1 Peter 1:3-9, 13-23
Psalm 111:1-5
John 20:19-31

"Humble King"
Pastor Nick Braunschneider

We, by nature, want a king we can rule over, not One who rules over us. If the reason we follow Jesus is to get our way or get what we want, it's only a matter of time before we turn on Him. And yet, Jesus, knowing our weaknesses and tendencies, still came for us...to be our (Servant) King! You can trust Jesus to be your faithful King, even in these difficult days.

Message begins at 35:49.

Scriptures:
Matthew 21:1-11
Psalm 31:10-18
Matthew 26:36-75, 27:1-54
